Thank you. Many years ago I went through the head lice thing too. Even after treatment, our heads still itched with the memory of the little crawlies. I also want to say how much I adore and love your book. I treat myself to one poem every morning. It is the light in the beginning of my day.
Poetry became my way back to joy and my survival tool last year, when my health went on vacation. And now that common sense and kindness and empathy is a scarcity among the powers that be, I continue to turn to poetry. Oh, and lice; I remember those days when my daughter, who has the thickest longest hair in the world came home with lice quite regularly! But there was kindness and love involved in getting rid of them for her. Congratulations on your book release! I will order it 🤗
doing a puzzle and drinking champagne with a lifelong friend and reading your poetry aloud. that is a little bit of joy.
That sounds like such a lovely evening! I’m going to invite a friend over for puzzles and champagne when I’m back in town.
Loved the poem. Thanks! We all needed it.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing! Just thinking about them makes me itch. And I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying the book!
Joy as a survival tool. Oof. Man did I need to read this. Thank you ❤️
It’s my daily mantra :)
Happy my body can swim. And made a great soup. Oh, and opened my eyes again.
I'm looking forward to swimming this summer, feeling the lightening of my body in the buoyancy of water. And there's nothing better than great soup.
I got into the water yesterday. I LOVE being in the water, in any form. It’s so lovely. It’s how we all start out.
End of winter…I can feel the mood
